Abstract

This investigation brings to light the critical relevance of integrating Qur’anic and Hadith teachings into Islamic education frameworks that prioritize social awareness. Contemporary Islamic education often centers on cognitive development and normative instruction, frequently neglecting the socially engaged and transformative elements inherent as conveyed through Islamic principles. In reality, the Qur'an and Hadith contain profound guidance on values such as justice, compassion, cooperation, accountability, and solidarity. Utilizing a qualitative approach based on library research, the study examines how these values can shape curriculum design, teaching strategies, and the development of educational models grounded in humanism and transformation. Findings suggest that embedding social values into educational practice is feasible through the use of theme-based curricula, real-life learning contexts, extracurricular engagement, and the ethical modeling of teachers. Additionally, institutional support through policy reform and educator training is crucial to enhance the integration of Islamic social ethics. This educational paradigm seeks to develop learners who do more than just spiritually and analytically competent as well as socially conscious and active in addressing societal challenges. The study ultimately calls for a closer alignment between Islamic foundational values and current social conditions in education, aiming to inspire authentic and sustainable social change.
