Abstract

This article is the result of field research at Nahdlatul Ummah Muslimat Kindergarten, Daun Village, Bawean Island, which aims to find out 1) the strategy of internalizing Islamic educational values in the formation of Islamic character of students, and 2) the impact of internalizing the values of Islamic education in the formation of Islamic character of students. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, collecting data using observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, data conclusion and checking the validity of the data used is source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that: 1). the strategy of internalizing the values of Islamic education is carried out by using several educational methods namely exemplary, habituation, advice, control and punishment, and 2). the impact is that there is a positive change in attitude towards God, his parents, himself and the surrounding environment that can be felt by teachers, students, parents and the surrounding community and are able to fortify themselves from the bad influences of changing times.
